The ATG Graduate Development Program (ATGDP) has been designed to provide required developmental input to our Engineering and Management Graduates and prepare them for leadership roles on a fast track.
We recruit Graduates under this program through a rigorous campus recruitment process covering premier engineering and Management institutes (list of institutes visited in 2019). The selection process is tailored to find the best fit for the organisation. It comprises of Psychometric test, video CVs, Group discussion and interviews.
Our shortlisting criteria include academic and non-academic achievements with an emphasis on culture fit, and therefore, weightage is given to Learning Agility, People Skills and Work Ethics. The Panel visiting the campuses is comprised of ATG leadership and Department Heads eager to find the best minds and the right attitude to work in their teams.
ATGDP is a structured program offered for one year with an emphasis on ‘Campus-to-Corporate’ transition. The graduates undergo a predefined period of training with planned projects and are assigned coach and a mentor to guide them. What’s unique about this program is that the graduate also gets to choose a Coach from a number of certified internal Coaches.
Learning is the key focus for the graduates in this program. At ATG we follow the 70-20-10 principle of learning, wherein 70% of the learning comes from on the job learning, 20% from social interactions and 10% from formal classroom trainings. Functional and behavioural trainings are provided during the training period to complement the on-the-job learning acquired.
The Leadership at ATG is highly invested in this program. Graduates get exposure to the top leadership and are frequently provided with the opportunities to interact, showcase their work and learn from them.
Through the Graduate Development Program the graduates can expect stimulating work, the chance to connect and learn from their colleagues from across functions, the opportunity to contribute to leading-edge projects and have loads of fun!
